Ekoenergetyka bus charging to come to Paris
In France, the Polish charging infrastructure provider Ekoenergetyka has signed another framework contract with Paris public transport operator RATP. The contract, worth up to 37 million euros, provides for the supply of fast charging systems for electric buses.
The first firm order from the new framework agreement covers 349 charging stations. So far, it is still unclear which model of charger will be used or what the value of the first order is – and thus what share of the total of 37 million euros has already been awarded.
Ekoenergetyka has been one of RATP’s charging infrastructure suppliers since 2018. The framework agreement concluded at that time had a term of two years with an option for a further year. In January 2021, an order for 274 electric bus chargers was then placed with the Polish manufacturer as part of the extension.
“For us, the continued cooperation with RATP is the best confirmation of the quality of our products, services and business relationships,” says Bartosz Kubik, CEO and co-founder of Ekoenergetyka. “Our charging infrastructure meets the requirements of the third largest public transport operator in the world, which also proves the company’s global potential.”
