Canoo to take astronauts to space

A small but prestigious contract has been awarded to the Californian electric car start-up Canoo: Canoo has been contracted by NASA to build vehicles to take astronauts to the launch pad for upcoming missions to the moon and Mars.

More recently, Tesla vehicles have been used in launches by Elon Musk’s SpaceX company. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his crew drove Rivian’s electric SUV to the launch pad last year before their trip to space.
