Bugatti goes from 4 wheels to 2
Bugatti has presented its first electric vehicle at the CES. It is not a super sports car, but an electric kick scooter developed with the US company Bytech.
Compared to other electric scooters, the functional design is quite similar, although manages to distinguish itself through a few design choices, the light in particular. Bugatti describes the vehicle as having a “unique aerodynamic design and high-end appearance”, although the afore-mentioned light, which spells out the ‘B’ letter logo from Bugatti behind the rider, is the most noticeable.
The scooters run on a 600 W motor, which features a top speed of 18.6 mph, runs on a 10.5 Ah lithium-ion battery for a range up to 25 miles. A safety bell is also included to show that Bugatti is serious about scooter safety. The launch date has not been set yet, and prices for the notoriously expensive brand have not been revealed either.
