Disinformation on Facebook running wild as always

Numerous posts on Facebook have been claiming that hundreds of discarded electric cars from Paris have been left abandoned on a meadow where they are poisoning the soil because they were faulty and could not be recycled because the cars still contain batteries (?!).

Fact-checking now proves that although the photos shown are indeed genuine and the cars also do come from Paris, the batteries have long since been removed and the electric cars are being resold.
