Tesla is taking heat from the competition
Darren Palmer, chief developer of the electric car division at Ford, is dishing out towards Tesla. Without mentioning the competitor by name, Palmer extolled the virtues of the all-electric Ford Mustang Mach-E with some sly remarks aimed at the competition.
Among other things, the following words are clearly meant as a dig at Tesla’s quality problems: “The doors fit properly, the plastics and other materials colour-match, the bumpers don’t fall off, the roof doesn’t come off when you wash it, the door handles don’t get stuck in cold weather…”
