Santa’s helper to run emission-free
An all-electric Citroën ë-Dispatch aka Citroën ë-Jumpy will help London Christmas Tree Rental to deliver its trees for Christmas. As part of the initiative, the electric vehicle will travel more than 2,000 miles and save more than 428 kg of CO2 compared to an equivalent diesel van.
“London Christmas Tree Rental is about revolutionising how we use Christmas trees and electric vehicles are revolutionising the motor industry, so it’s a great relationship,” said Jonathan Mearns, founder of London Christmas Tree Rental. “As a new company we are always looking at how we can be more efficient and using an electric van is one of those significant steps. It’s all about sustainability after all, so we’re really up for his exciting collaboration.”
