Vauxhall reduces price and adds trim for Corsa-e

In the UK, Opel’s sister brand Vauxhall announced a price reduction of the Corsa-e line-up which amounts to a £1000 reduction for the entry-level model.

The Corsa-e is now available in SE Nav Premium trim from £26,640 after the UK’s £3000 plug-in car grant. Vauxhall says that they have aimed the prices at “making the switch to electric even easier.”

The British brand is also revamping the line-up with two new trim levels. All Corsa-e models have a 50kWh battery and 100kW (136PS) electric motor, with a range of up to 209 miles (approx 336 kilometres). With 100kW rapid charging, the battery can be charged to 80% in 30 minutes.

The electric car was launched in continental Europe in June last year. The technical details were released beforehand, while later last year, the German sister brand announced new charging details for the fully-electric car.
