Volkswagen Jetta potentially has some screws loose
Volkswagen is recalling around 218,000 Jetta models from 2016 to 2018 in the USA due to the risk of gasoline leaks. There is a risk that certain screws could loosen over time. This could cause fuel to leak, which in turn, could lead to a fire hazard.
While the problem is dangerous, so far there have been no major recorded accidents resulting from it. The German automaker also hasn’t figured out how to fix the issue either but expects to start notifying owners around 20 December
