When Musk meets Diess

Tesla CEO Elon Musk made a surprising stopover in Braunschweig at the end of his visit to Germany, which lasted several days, and met with Volkswagen Group CEO Herbert Diess.

VW had brought their ID3. and ID.4 electric models to Braunschweig to present them to Elon Musk, who also took the opportunity to take them for a spin. Musk spent much of the rest of his time in Germany in the capital meeting with politicians and visiting the Gigafactory 4, also known as Giga Berlin, which celebrated its topping out ceremony. Production there is scheduled to launch in the summer of 2021.
