Seat draws inspiration from young designers
In a team up with children in the UK, Seat aims to make EV charging stations more colourful. This follows research showing that 1/3 of British motorists consider the power dispensers to be ugly. The design consists of a mosaic of ten drawings by children and inaugurated with a charging station in Milton Keynes.
While the first models make for a nice story, this is far from the end of the initiative – rollout is expected to continue with the improved design charging stations. As SEAT UK Managing Director, Richard Harrison, states: “The design is truly inspirational as we know the next generation are more focused on sustainability issues than ever before.”
