UFODrive offers EV fleet management software

The electric car rental company UFODrive has launched a fleet management software for electric cars. The Luxembourg-based company already rents electric vehicles in various European cities and now also offers the new software ‘eMobility Fleet Manager’.

The end-to-end platform for electric cars also incorporates their experience from the rental car business, which the company now wants to make available to fleet operators. The software is designed to make it easier for fleet managers to enter the world of electromobility while keeping the costs of transformation low.

Part of the platform is a range and charging management. It also includes features known from other fleet management platforms such as remote support and reporting.

The notification already mentions the initial customer who will use the new platform directly at the start of the software. The fleet service provider Moovee, also based in Luxembourg, offers multimodal sharing services for corporate customers throughout Europe. The declared aim is, therefore, to make better use of electric vehicles in fleets and thus to be able to expand the range of mobility options – while at the same time simplifying work processes. Moovee wants to offer on-demand bookings of its electric cars in Luxembourg and France in the future.

UFODrive itself offers electric cars for rent in several major European cities. The offer, which is explicitly aimed at business travellers, is available in Germany in Hamburg, Cologne and Berlin. UFODrive is also active in cities such as Dublin, London, Brussels, Paris and Amsterdam. According to the statement, the stations are “always located at traffic junctions of the respective major city”.
