Tesla hits new road blocks on the path to Gigafactory 4
At least 270 objections to Tesla’s planned factory in Grünheide were received by the official deadline, which was possible until Thursday evening. A frequent complaint was that the planning documents were “too vague” in many places.
At least this was illucidated by the German State Office of Recognised Nature Conservation Associations (an association of BUND, NABU, Grüne Liga, NaturFreunde, Schutzgemeinschaft Deutscher Wald (SDW) and Verkehrsclub Deutschland) in a letter to the Brandenburg State Office for the Environment.
However, the number of complaints reported could still increase. As the State Office told media representatives, further objections had been received “into the evening hours” via e-mail.
