NL: Unilever Innovation Center to get 124 charging points
EVBox partner Hollander Techniek has installed 124 charging points on the campus of Wageningen University in the Netherlands. The charging point each have an output of 11 kW and are meant for guests and employees of Unilever’s Global Foods Innovation Center at the University.
EVBox has installed BusinessLine charging stations – 61 columns with two charging points and two columns with one charging point each. Thanks to this infrastructure, 124 of the 533 parking spaces of the Innovation Center will have charging facilities. EVBox has used charging and energy management systems to enable intelligent load balancing, and have said that the charging solution is also expandable.
Unilever is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of consumer goods. The Innovation Center opened in December and is located in Wageningen – a university town not far from the Dutch-German border. The Dutch-British Group employs 450 people at the Innovation Center, all of whom are given the opportunity to lease electric company cars.
