Rage against Tesla heats up
The Tesla Model X of an owner from the Netherlands was apparently deliberately set on fire when charging overnight during a business trip in Düsseldorf, Germany. The owner suspects “hate against Tesla” as the reason behind the arson attack.
After ICE-ing, which is the blocking of an EV charging spot by an internal combustion vehicle (ICE), as well as sabotaged chargers with a variety of creativity put into the destruction of private property and antagonization of its owners, it seems the stakes have been upped yet again. Sometimes progress comes easy, sometimes it must claw its way forward. Let’s hope that people become slightly more accepting to a more environmentally friendly direction, even if it leaves their favorite outdated technologies in the dust.
At least the affected driver found himself subject to an outpouring of support from various parties.
