Toyota appeals to Harry Potter fans and little witches
At this years Tokyo Motor Show, Toyota presented several concepts for future mobility with one being highly unusual, the electric flying broom. It is unclear at this stage whether this is a Halloween trick, after all, Toyota presented it alongside more serious concepts such as the E-Racer.
However, details are scarce with the press release saying as much as “experience first-hand mobility of the future! Modelled after a broom used by a witch to fly through the air, this mobility platform integrates people and machines, allowing users to reaffirm the enjoyment of mobility.”
Well … That is about as much “technical detail” as we got at this stage but judging by the looks and cultural references of this device, the E-Broom will make any witches’ or warlocks’ heart skip a beat. What we are also unsure about is whether Toyota expects this to be a sweeping success (excuse the pun) in any foreseeable future.
