Tesla starts selling Model 3 in Eastern Europe
Tesla has announced its expansion to Eastern Europe and opened sales for the Model 3 in selected countries. Electric car buyers in Poland, Romania, Slovenia and Hungary may now order their Tesla online.
As always though, deliveries will take a while and have been given as early 2020 for now. An open question also remains, where and how Tesla will service these electric cars as the announcement came as a tweet with just the basic information.
However, the opening of a Tesla store in Budapest is planned, and people in Poland have been buying Teslas for some time. A view on the Tesla map shows an open service centre in Warsaw indeed and one in the Czech capital of Prague as well.

Also, Musk had said already last November that he had called on his service teams to expand existing locations and to move “to all population regions (not just major metros) in North America, Eastern Europe, China & Japan by end of next year”.
This expansion naturally includes the installation of Superchargers along the way, and indeed quite a few are planned in Poland, Hungary, Slovenia and Romania, according to the Tesla Supercharger map.
