ARC Europe and EVBox announce European partnership
The charging infrastructure provider EVBox and ARC Europe, a consortium of eight major transport clubs in Europe, have formed a strategic partnership to provide EVBox customers throughout Europe with round-the-clock support.
The cooperation will start in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland and will be extended to France, England, Germany, Italy and Spain in 2020.
By concluding this partnership with EVBox, ARC Europe will, among other things, improve the existing call centre functions, provide EVBox customers with problems at a charging station with technical support and pan-European support from knowledgeable and experienced EV specialists.
More and more people are switching to electric vehicles. Providing the right service will therefore be a critical part of the offering, according to Kristof Vereenooghe, CEO of EVBox. “Our customers have to feel that no matter where they are or at what time, we will offer them the support to get back on the road,” says Vereenooghe. EV drivers can also look forward to support on the road. Stefano Sarti, ARC Europe Group Managing Director, said: “We will also provide assistance on the road with our mobile charging modules, empowering EV drivers on the go. From the home-office commute and on the way; we will always be behind EVBox to assist EV drivers.”
The ARC Europe Group is one of the largest providers of B2B breakdown services in Europe with a network in more than 40 European countries. The shareholders of the group are the automobile clubs: ADAC (Germany), The AA (UK), ANWB (Netherlands), Automobile Club d’Italia (Italy), ÖAMTC (Austria), RACE (Spain), TCB (Belgium) and TCS (Switzerland).
