Cold winter blues
A man who purchased a Chevy Bolt in South Dakota, USA, is suing General Motors because he feels cheated by the advertised range. He says that the official 238 mile-range shrank by about 100 miles during the cold winter months.
The justification given by the carmaker is that its website makes reference to the fact that the range can be influenced by the weather and other factors. GM has also added a disclaimer to its website. The decision of the federal judge is still pending.
