Denver police car swankier than usual
In Denver, Colorado, police have been driving around in a Tesla Model S for a couple of years before hardy local journalists finally found out where it came from: The car had been confiscated during an illegal marijuana bust.
The original owner is being accused of money laundering and had apparently paid for the car in cash. On Facebook, the former Tesla owner said: “I still can’t figure out what I was thinking the day I bought a Tesla straight cash homie. Had I financed it like a normal person, I’d still have her today.”
I don’t hear Denver police complaining.
