A classic revamped for a new element
Italian designer Pierpaolo Lazzarini has fused the classic Vespa with a modern jet ski. His vision includes an electric version capable to self-balance on the water and to sail with 32 knots per hour (60 kph).
Design follows Lazzarini’s motto “think about the future and never forget the past”, which is very visibly reflected in the watercraft’s design. Even the reflectors are located in the same place as the original Vespa, although it is not entirely without it’s downsides; The price tag for the “cheaper” version, with a 330cc 39hp twin stroke engine, stands at $19.000.
