Siemens presents new member of the Siship BlueDrive series
With the Siship BlueDrive Eco, Siemens is expanding their lineup for ship motors for electric or partially electrified ships, and now covers the performance spectrum between 5 kW and 5.5 MW with the newest drive addition.
All BlueDrive drive systems contain a battery system, which was developed in-house by Siemens, and can be configured so that no emissions are produced. They can be integrated into ferries or yachts as well as cruise ships, commercial boats and research vessels. The system will be presented including battery systems at the SMM in Hamburg, which begins today.
