Name Game for Formula E

There has been some dispute regarding the rights to the name Formula E – apparently a small go-cart championship in central Europe holds the rights to the name, which may bring some trouble for the larger championship.

We hope that in the interest of sportsmanship, the two organizations can resolve their differences. But considering that the legal proceedings have been going on for four years now, and that it has been escalated to involve an EU judge, it is unlikely that the two organizations will find a reasonable compromise.
