FEV expanding in Asia with FEV Thailand
German FEV has setup a Thai subsidiary in order to offer their engineering and development services in Thailand. FEV Thailand is to support the local industry in the development of vehicles and components such as electric motors, including batteries and fuel cells.
FEV Thailand has their head quarters south-east of Bangkok in Si Racha. Through its subsidiary, FEV hopes to be tapping deeper into Thailand’s growing automotive sector, that “needs technology for future mobility,” says Prof. Stefan Pischinger, President and CEO of FEV Group.
The stated goal of the new subsidiary is to support the regional mobility sector in the development of vehicles and engines, transmissions and electric powertrains, including batteries and fuel cells.
