Solaris introduces analysis instrument for e-buses

Solaris has started offering an analysis system named eSConnect for their electric buses, which will support fleet operators to optimally utilise their buses and find potential error sources before problems can develop. The Polish manufacturer also hopes to profit from the data themselves.

The system can be integrated into all electric buses manufactured by Solaris, including older models. The manufacturer also hopes to gather driving data from the system, in order to set up a “database of real performance information” which will provide information and eventually improved solutions regarding charging, positioning, battery charge status and energy usage.

At the same time, the system will also serve the fleet operators, by allowing real-time monitoring of battery levels, every day use and the creation of statistics regarding the vehicle’s use. The statement had this on the subject: “For the buyers of vehicles from Bolechowo the system means a better use of the vehicle fleet and a confirmation of a bus being properly managed by the drivers.”
