Luxembourg buying electric buses from Irizar
Irizar has delivered six electric buses to Voyages Emile Weber in Luxembourg. The 12-metre EVs will be followed by another four electric models measuring 18 metres each before the year’s end.
The new buses will serve on line 290 in Luxembourg. To support the initiative, Irizar has set up a dedicated service and sales centre in the city.
The electric buses have a range of over 200km and are good for 16 hours of driving in challenging traffic conditions, says Irizar.
The electric vehicles will be charged at night in the new Bissen depots using six chargers with CCS connectors that have also been supplied by Irizar.
