Allego teaming up with LeasePlan across Europe
Charging infrastructure provider Allego found a new partner in LeasePlan. Their electric car drivers will get access to the Allego network and also receive support in installing new stations at home and the workplace. The deal reaches across eight markets in Europe.
The partnership will allow LeasePlan to offer clients a comprehensive charging package. It includes access to Allego’s 65,000 charge point strong network via one card and also facilitates the installation of further charge stops.
In a first stage, the new deal with Allego will be rolled out across eight LeasePlan markets in Europe: Germany and France, the three Benelux countries, Sweden, Norway and Portugal.
In these countries, Allego will install charge points for LeasePlan electric car drivers and also handle the maintenance and management of the installations. Moreover, the drivers will have access to billing, monitoring and analytics services on Allego’s EV cloud platform.
Allego has recently opened the first liquid-cooled chargers location for charging with up to up to 350 kW. The high power charging site in Dutch Eindhoven is part of the European Mega -E project. The initiative led by Allego aims for 322 ultra-fast chargers in at least ten metropolitan areas in Europe.
