Royal wedding rides electric
The royal wedding is over, promise, but they saved the best bit for the end. After their final “I do”, Prince Harry took Meghan out for a spin in a classy 1968 Jag that has since been converted to electric power.
The newly-wed Duke and Duchess of Sussex thus departed Windsor Castle in a Jaguar E-Type Zero, first revealed in 2017. The vehicle model itself has been turning heads since 1968, however the electrified version is the first of its kind.
We would hope to see more of this type of forward thinking from the royal family.
