Mercedes shows off the Project One’s baby steps

Mercedes is known for fast and luxurious cars. Their newest marketing strategy shows their concept progress crawling along, but still moving forward.

After the Project One concept hybrid hyper-car was introduced last year at the IAA, expectations stood high. Now Mercedes has shown off their vehicle in action in a new video, where it drives in purely electric mode – at walking speed. To make matters worse, as soon as it hit the slightest incline, the combustion motor had to be turned on. If Mercedes wants to convince it’s fans not to hold their breath, this seems like a good marketing strategy.
