ElringKlinger elevates e-mobility to high level management
ElringKlinger is underlining its e-mobility focus as they make room on the board for a dedicated manager. Theo Becker, former Chief Operating Officer is to take the chair and will focus on battery and fuel cell technology.
Electric transport is of C-level concern to ElringKlinger as it appoints its ex COO to take its efforts further. Says current CEO Dr. Stefan Wolf: “It is important that Theo Becker can focus entirely on our new fields of business. For ElringKlinger, the area of new drive technologies, in particular, holds tremendous opportunities for the future.”
Theo Becker will focus on the areas of battery technology and fuel cell technology in addition to overseeing the integration of the hofer Group. Apart from electrification, ElringKlinger has been driving internationalisation as well. Its joint venture with Chengfei Integration Technology (CITC) for example, aims to develop, produce and sell battery modules in China (we reported).
