Chargemap joins Hubject’s intercharge network
The Alsatian E-Mobility startup Chargemap is cooperating with Hubject to move outside of France as well. As of the coming summer, EV drivers who use the Chargemap charging solution can use any intercharge charging station in the world.
Currently Chargemap is focusing on creating a network of EV drivers, within an open community, which allows for collaborative charging map creation.
Recently, the company released a charging solution, which doesn’t only show charging locations, but also allows access and usability. The decision to integrate with intercharge will bring Chargemap closer to the international market, and is expected to push further concerning transnational or continental charging network solutions.
Recently SPIE CityNetworks, Hubject and the Syndicat Départemental d’Énergies, of the French Départements Yonne (SDEY) announced a cooperation, which would supply charging stations that are usable by all users of Hubjects intercharge network.
The Berlin-based roaming joint venture Hubject has also set its sights on other markets; While it has a solid foot-hold in Europe and Japan, the company is also looking to expand to China and the USA, for which it has made significant investments and has even founded a daughter-company, Hubject Inc., which will be active in the USA. The Chinese market entry is still underway.
