SsangYong will showcase its e-SIV electric SUV concept at the Geneva salon this March. The e-SIV serves the Koreans to illustrate its future approach towards electric vehicles, connectivity and autonomous driving.
SsangYong developed e-SIV (Electronic Smart Interface Vehicle) to demonstrate that it is looking into connected and autonomous and of course electric driving. The e-SIV stands on SsangYong’s next generation C-segment SUV.
The 140 kW electric motor features a top speed of 150 kph. The battery of an undisclosed capacity is said to last for 450 km and is capable of fast-charging the e-SIV to 80 percent in under an hour.
