Renault to present more powerful Zoe in Geneva
Renault will present the most powerful version of the Zoe to date at the Auto Salon this March. The new version, called the R110, will feature higher motor output, delivering 12 kW more power than the previous R90 model.
The report by Autocar indicates, that the car will not change significantly apart from the power-increase, however Renault has yet to officially comment. Whether the battery range or only the power output are being developed is still an open question.
The current model, the R90, is capable of a range around 400km, according to the NEDC testing. The vehicle, originally launched in 2012 and has since been popular on the European market, although Zoe sales in France dropped last month but only when seen in comparison in 2017 record sales. With a new model being released soon, the trend is expected to continue upward.
Pricing for the new model is expected to be around 22,600 pounds in the UK for example, before subsidies.
