Mitsubishi cracks 100,000 sales with Outlander PHEV
Four years after its launch in October 2013, Mitsubishi announces that its Outlander PHEV has passed the milestone of 100,000 sales in Europe. The plug-in hybrid now accounts for more than 10% of the European sales in Mitsubishi.
Mitsubishi has sold over 100,000 Outlander PHEV in Europe to date, four years after the launch of the PHEV. The plug-in hybrid from Japan is particularly favoured by buyers in Great Britain (34,108 sales) and the Netherlands (25,399 sales).
Also in Norway, sales of the Outlander PHEV were strong as it sold 13,429 times to date. The top three are followed by Sweden (9,957 units), Germany (6,743 sales) and France where 2,580 Mitsubishi PHEV were sold.
The Outlander PHEV launched in October 2013, first in the Netherlands and Scandinavia.
