Nissan introduces self-driving slippers (video)

Yes, you read it correctly! Nissan is demonstrating its future technologies for autonomous EVs in a creative way in a Japanese guest house. Thus, guests receive slippers with two small wheels as well as sensors and an electric motor.

The slippers are capable of “parking” autonomous next to other shoes. No joke: The system is based on tech used in the Nissan Leaf.
