Details about BMW’s future electric line-up
BMW has skipped its plans for an electric i5 and i9 but seeks to replace the latter through a smaller but spacious i7. That is at least what Georg Kacher says, known as insider to the branch. Moreover, the BMW i3 shall get a successor called iX1.
Another news is that BMW intends to create long-wheelbase variants of the above mentioned iX1 for China and that subsidiary Rolls Royce plans to bring an all-electric Ghost model to the market.
Still unclear is, what model is going to follow BMW’s i8. According to Kacher, three options are currently discussed. However, all information are based on him only. Due to a lack of official statements, we have to wait how reliable they are.
