New options for Tesla Model 3 soon available?

Tesla has updated the configurator for its Model 3, suggesting that more options for the car are about to be introduced. Moreover, the model has hit the first show rooms at the U.S. East coast, where it attracts a lot of attention.

Regarding upcoming options, the Model 3 configurator lists a smaller battery as an option in “early 2018” and a twin-engine all-wheel-drive variant as an option in “Spring 2018.” Initially, both features should have been available earlier but got delayed due to Tesla’s production difficulties.

Meanwhile first Model 3 display cars have reached several show rooms. After Tesla handed over first units to its retail locations in Los Angeles and Palo Alto some days ago, additional display cars reached now the East Coast, namely New York, Boston and Miami.
