London’s borough Brent expands its charging network
Brent council’s Cabinet approved the proposals to install up to 50 additional charge points in lamp columns and several rapid charge points at five sites in the London borough by April 2019. A supplier for the charge points will be found through procurement.
However, the works run independently from BluePoint London that continues to built on the Source network. As reported, the British arm of Bolloré wants to install an additional 1,000 charge points in London over the course of 2018. Four years ago, the Bolloré subsidiary acquired the Source London network from Transport for London (TfL) with the promise to operate and renew the network.
