Bee’ah is first Middle East company to order Tesla trucks
Bee’ah is a pioneer in the region of the Middle East to eye Tesla’s electric-powered truck. The specialist for environmental management ordered 50 units that shall be deployed in the United Arab Emirates. Also the Norwegian post company has ordered a Tesla truck.
Both companies join the growing circle of businesses that trust in Tesla to launch its electric truck Semi. As reported, UPS holds the record by having ordered 125 units in December. Before, DHL Americas, Walmart and more recently Sysco as well as Pepsico reserved different quantities of the Semi, too.
In December, Tesla has opened the order books for its electric truck Semi also in several European countries, namely in Norway, the Netherlands and Great Britain. Those interested, have to transmit a down payment of 20,000 dollars (and even 200,000 for the “Founder Series”). Pricing for the base version shall start at 150,000 dollars. That is what the Californian company calls the “expected price” for the truck’s 480 km range version. The “expected price” for the model with 800 km range is 180,000 dollars.
