Webasto to present its charging solutions in the States

Webasto is going to debut with its EV charging stations in the North American market: In January, the company will put its product portfolio on display at the CES – after having shown it at this year’s IAA in Frankfurt for the first time.

Webasto offers a broad range of domestic charging solutions, entry-level systems as well as sophisticated stations with connectivity and smart home capabilities (e.g. for smart load management). The charging stations for the North American market will provide up to 50-amp or 12 kW of charging power.

However, Webasto is not just selling charging solutions but features also installation and service units available around the world. Being a supplier experienced in automotive series production, Webasto is thus rather an untypical player in the charging infrastructure market and wants to strengthen its position through large production quantities and sophisticated product quality.
