Pricing for Jaguar’s I-Pace to start at 82,000 euros

Jaguar has mentioned prices for its first EV in front of clients, according to “autoblog.nl”. Originally, the company intended to announce tech specs and pricing in March – while simultaneously opening the order books.

Thus, the base version of the I-Pace shall be available for approximately 82,000 euros. More sophisticated versions shall cost 90,000 respectively 97,000 euros. The “First Edition” is priced at 106,000 euros. According to Jaguar, not less than 25,000 pre-orders have been handed in, so far.

One detail drawn from the concept I-Pace unveiled in LA in 2016 is the 90 kWh Li-ion battery pack. Positioned between two axels it allows for a range of 500 km and two rare earth magnetic electric motors deliver 300 kW and a torque of 700 Nm. The I-Pace is expected to be able to charge at 120 kW if not 150 kW once production kicks off.
