Lamborghini presents Urus – PHEV to follow in 2019
With the debut of its Urus, the Italian manufacturer Lamborghini is about to tackle the SUV market. In a first step, the company launchs a combustion-powered 650 hp version of the model by spring 2018. A plug-in hybrid shall follow later, according to “Auto Motor und Sport” by 2019.
Besides that, Lamborghini and Bugatti are currently readying a PHEV coupe on base of the Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid. Details have not yet been provided. However, Lamborghini’s vision of an all-electric future is also getting evident: Together with the MIT, the Italiens created a concept called Terzo Mellennio.
