VW I.D. Lounge and I.D. Aero update

Volkswagen is planning more models as part of its electric MEB platform. New details have been revealed, outlining the I.D. Lounge and I.D. AEROe for the first time.

The modular MEB platform on which Volkswagen bases its electric I.D. family has been extended. Apart from the I.D., I.D. Crozz and I.D. Buzz, VW now added the I.D. Lounge and I.D. AEROe. The latter will take the form of a premium sports sedan featuring a range of up to 700 kilometres and is due by 2022, Focus magazine claims. The I.D. Lounge is designed as a crossover that allegedly accommodates up to seven passengers.
