North Rhine Westphalia (NRW) got a a new government and so the seat of the minister of ecology went from the Green party to the Conservatives (CDU), who refused though to take over the car as well. While the former minister happily drove a Tesla Model S 90, the CDU finds the range to be below 300 km at times and thus too short and opted for a new hybrid Daimler instead.
