Volvo CEO Håkan Samuelsson made it official, the Geely-owned manufacturer will never again build a car without some sort of electric propulsion comes 2019 (also see news above). The more electric, the better, we’d say.

Says Zhang Hui, general manager of NextEV. The firm operates a design centre with more than a 100 employers in Munich but will build its electric cars in China together with JAC. “Designed in Germany” could be the catchphrase to use.
