Ola pushes on electrification: Indian Uber opponent Ola intends to deploy “thousands” of EVs in Indian cities this year and to increase its electric fleet “in a mayor way” after the trials. In previous announcements, Ola’s main investor Softbank even spoke of 1m EVs – among them cars as well as rickshaws and two-wheelers. On top, Ola plans investments into charging infrastructure.

The Scottish Green Bus Fund just got another three million pounds on top of the 14.8m pounds the Scottish government had invested over the previous six rounds of funding. So far the scheme has seen the introduction of more than 300 low emission buses and applications are open until June, 30.
