Renault has leased 100,000 batteries for its electric vehicles and said that 93 percent of customers in Europe opt to disown their power pack. The contracts are handled by the French carmaker’s financial arm RCI Bank and Services and Renault offers a (vehicle) lifetime warranty on leased batteries.
