Buses big in Belgium: Soon all buses in Belgium will be electrified it seems. After Volvo and ABB scored their biggest order to date with 90 electric buses and 12 chargers, it is now on Solaris. Transport provider Société Régionale du Transport (SRWT) has ordered 208 hybrid buses. The contract is worth 105m euros and includes maintenance. Solaris will deliver this September.

E-scooter sharing: Croatian Dubrovnik ordered 100 electric scooter. Tourists and locals can book them via app from April onwards. 15 charging stops stand ready and double as rental stations. Testing has commenced since autumn, yet the city has not made any rates public.

350 kW charging: Portuguese Efacec builds charging stations and has already sold 44 units from its HV-Serie. It can charge with up to 350 kW and half of the stations have been installed in various projects. The series includes models with power ranges from 50, 160, 175 and 350 kW.

E-car sharing: In Singapore, Bolloré just scaled back its BlueSG EV sharing. Only 10 – 20 electric cars will be deployed this summer and not 125 as initially planned. But the long term strategy remains and shall see the French group set up 2,000 EV charging stations for 1,000 of its EV within four years.

Tesla landed in the UAE as planned and started to install Superchargers right away. One fast-charging station connects Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Destination chargers can be found in Dubai already.
