Ensures Mercedes R&D boss Ola Källenius. AMG would not be the first hyper hybrid out there but Källenius actually went a bit further and considered fully electric models for the brand. The SLS Electric Drive was “a know-how builder for AMG” already.

Talking about hypercars – McLaren’s new boss Zak Brown wants to get back into the Le Mans 24 Hours race. It would probably be in the GT ranks, but when asked about another LMP1 prototype, he answered “never say never.”
