H2-powered taxi fleet: The announced pilot project involving hydrogen-powered taxis is ready to hit the road in South Korea. It will start out with a fleet of ten Hyundai ix35 Fuel Cell taxis in the city of Ulsan and will be extended to another five cities in the first half of 2017.

Plug-in carsharing: Mevo kicked off in Wellington, New Zealand, featuring three Audi A3 e-tron. The fleet is to grow to 50 cars and 64 charging stations over the next year. After conquering the streets of New Zealand’s capital, the scheme will also be offered in Auckland.

Funding EV adoption: The U.S. state of Massachusetts earmarked another 12m dollars for state-funded subsidies of electric, plug-in hybrid and fuel cell cars. A total of 25 vehicles can now qualify for rebates between 750 and 2,500 dollars on the purchase or lease.

BMW charges Australia: The automaker teamed up Scentre Group and will install a total of 40 EV charging stations at ten shopping centres in South Wales, Queensland and Victoria. Plugging in will be free for all EV drivers.
