LG to start Bolt production? LG Electronics has completed construction of an EV component facility in Chinese Nanjing and started production. The plant is close to where LG Chem also builds electric cars. Hence, the new production site is likely to manufacture mainly parts for Chevrolet’s Bolt EV.

Hybrid sports car: British Zenos received 250,000 pounds from the UK Government to build a hybrid prototype of its E10 R racer. Hyperdrive Innovation will deliver the battery management. If successful, the hybrid drive system based on Ford’s Ecoboost could be utilised in other, rather serial models.
